Ayelet Studios is a small business owned by me, Bethany Harris. I am an artistic person who used my talents to help others. I am just starting out, but if you take a moment and look through my website, you will see that I can do very intricate work. My prices are dependent upon the product, as everything is hand crafted and can take many hours to complete. Polymer clay, my main medium, is a delicate material and must be worked with carefully. Figurines, as well as earrings, necklaces, and charms are all available. I take custom orders for a slightly higher price than my pre-made work, and will work hard to meet a due date.
Please, take a look around and see what catches your eye. Feel free to contact me, and I will do my best to respond as soon and accurately as possible. I appreciate your visiting my site, and I hope that you find something to spur your own creative mind. Remember, there is no limit to imagination; only to what one is willing to do with it.
About the Clay and Sculpting: I use polymer clay as my main medium. Put simply, that is a type of clay that will never dry out. To harden the clay, it must be baked in an oven. Though this sounds simple enough, many things can go wrong and it is important to be very careful in both the sculpting and baking phases, as well as the post-baking time when the clay is most fragile. I use a variety of tools when I sculpt, and each one adds its own characteristics and beauty to the clay. If you have any more questions, please email me. I am glad to answer anything you would like to know about the clay and the process to sculpt it.
